Blackminster Middle School is fully committed to ensuring that all of our students acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to manage their learning and career progression. Blackminster Middle School has already established a range of effective careers guidance activities which we hope will guide support our students to achieve positive destinations such as A ‘levels, Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Technical routes or Employment.
Current Activities
In June we have an interactive talk from Fliss Reading from Evesham & Pershore Colleges.
‘Leaving school can be a scary prospect, but finding out about all options that are available is empowering and exciting! Knowing that learning can come out of the classroom and be hands-on and practical in many different subject areas, some that may never have even been thought about, can inspire students to do well in their GCSEs and choose the right subjects for them to get to wherever they want to go in life.’
